Sweet Tomatoes will donate 100 percent of the proceeds to the YMCA of Greater Miami.  The Y makes accessible the support and opportunities that empower people and communities to learn, grow and thrive.  With a focus on youth development, healthy living and social responsibility, the Y nurtures the potential of every child and teen, improves the community’s health and well-being, and provides opportunities to give back and support neighbors.

“We know how important a healthy and nutritious lifestyle is to our customers and the convenience of having fresh food options. We are happy to welcome Sweet Tomatoes to The Palms at Town & Country and offer our shoppers a farm-fresh dining experience,” says Joy Medlock, General Manager, The Palms at Town & Country.

The new Miami location at The Palms at Town & Country will offer a rotating menu of more than 100 original, made fresh daily recipes featuring signature salads, soups, bakery goods and hot pasta sauces, at an all-you-care-to-eat price.  All food is prepared without the use of artificial flavors, colors, additives or artificial trans fats.  A different food theme is featured each month and the most popular menu items are rotated every two weeks.  Items are showcased on a 45-foot salad bar and prepared exhibition style every 20 minutes.

“We are excited to be a part of the opening of Sweet Tomatoes, where families will have healthy food choices,” says Alfred Sanchez, President and CEO of the YMCA of Greater Miami. “This partnership is a perfect match of healthy living and social responsibility, where the dollars raised will allow the Y to serve more children, families and seniors in our community.”

Sweet Tomatoes seeks to be a vital and contributing part of each community in which it operates. To reach this goal, restaurants offer a “Fun-Raiser” program through which charities, churches, schools, athletic teams, scout troops and other non-profit organizations may raise funds by hosting in-store events. The restaurants assist in marketing the non-profit’s event by creating master flyers for distribution and promotion.

Sweet Tomatoes at The Palms at Town & Country will be open Sunday through Thursday from 11:00 a.m. – 9:00 p.m. and on Friday and Saturday from 11:00 a.m.-10:00 p.m.  For more information on Sweet Tomatoes visit For more information on the YMCA of Greater Miami visit
